End Reasons
An ‘end reason’ is the reason or reasons that a dog has retired, been transferred or released from your program and is being adopted or provided to another organization.
Storing these reasons are required because they are used for data summaries to identify which areas of health, behavior or other categories may be best to focus on for improvement in success rates and/or longer working times for graduated dogs.
These reasons listed below are reasons pertinent to guide and service dogs. Other types of working dogs will have different items on their list as well as some that are in common.
