> 6.3.1 – Search for Inbreeding Coefficient

Note: these will be calculated on all dogs in IWDR once the extended pedigrees are entered

For any dog on the database, click on “All Dogs” in the top left corner. Use the empty search fields to the left of the screen. Fill in known data, then click on “Search”. Any dog on the database with a corresponding name will appear in a drop down box. Find the correct dog, click on the magnifying glass to the left of the dog’s name.

A box will appear with general data of the dog, the pedigree of the dog, and the inbreeding coefficient

If all pedigree fields are not filled in, the inbreeding coefficient will be inaccurate. In this case, refer to the appendix of this manual for the method to calculate the correct inbreeding coefficient
